LUKE PURTILL
#TeamLuke are extremely proud and excited to announce that Luke has jointly won the 2020 #HorseVibes #deliveringdreamsscholarship.
"I was born with a genetic condition called 22q11.21 Deletion Syndrome. I don’t think much about having a disability, it is much more important to focus on my ability! I compete mainstream in dressage. At the moment I am riding in Prelim and usually score in the low to mid 60s.... I’ve joined the Special Olympics in Queensland and have been flying to Brisbane to train and compete. I won two firsts and a second at my last competition."
CINDY MCINTYRE
"I have a great partnership with my horses and we have been lucky to win some ribbons and trophies over the years. Winning is not a big part of my journey and this is the reason I haven’t recorded all of my success. I enjoy spending time with my horses and helping people by sharing my knowledge I have obtained over the years attending clinics and having a trainer."

SOPHIE CARLTON
"I compete primarily in show jumping with my mare Midnight Marvel (Deca). Deca and I have been partners for 5 years and have been competing together in show jumping for 4 years. We have also trained for and participated in dressage and show horse. Deca and I are born and bred Territorians who share a passion for jumping."
MARISA CARROLL
"I like to help everyone out if they need help. I like to do pony club, show jumping, barrel racing, polocrosse, trail riding and just riding with my family and friends."

RHIANNA WILLIAMSON
"I have been riding for nearly 7 years now and I have tried multiple disciplines but my favourite is showing. My long term goals for both horses are to compete at the Grand Nationals (Sydney) and the nationals (Victoria) in the next two years."
ALEESHA HOUGH
"I first started barrel racing 6 years ago. My best mate Pete the Australian Stock horse and I entered our first event.
Pete was my heart horse, he taught me everything I knew. We won may events together but lost twice as much. But I never blamed him for it. He always tried his hardest to please me. Soon after came “Fat Amy”. A fiery red head that LOVED to run. I knew from the first ride when I flew down to QLD to trial her that she was the one. I needed to have this mare.
My goals for 2021 are to keep improving with Amy and to get my 3 year old stockhorse gelding started."

AMBER AYLOTT
"My horse Cougar and I have been together for 8 years and he has just turned 21 but don’t tell him that! We have competed in barrel racing, roping, pony club , jumping, steer undecorating and camp drafts.
We have had a few years off and are making a comeback starting at jumping with DEA. Cougar enjoys eating , rolling and showing off how high he can buck , I enjoy staying on and friendly competition!
I believe age never matters. It’s what’s inside that counts."

I have regular lessons with my coach Vanessa Lines and I have a strong drive to improve my riding and knowledge. I also love to attend clinics with visiting coaches when possible.

NATALIE BELL
"Short term goal: Consistently and correctly show jumping in 1.15/1.20m + classes in the 2021 season. Long term goal: Survive the Mongol Derby and come home with all my limbs that I left the country with.
My core team include;
Warrego Waves – 16.2hh, 16 yo Warmblood. Talented showjumper and one of the most athletic horses I’ve had the privilege to ride and own. Likes: carrots, liquorice and being towelled dried after his bath. Dislikes: Miniature donkeys, puddles of water. Outback Jack – 21 yo Quarter Horse. Professional beach horse/Retired. Claim to fame: being banned from polocrosse due to an inability to play nicely with others. Hawk – 28 yo brumby. Retired. Enjoys a similar existence to a free range chicken. Can open any door, lock, fence etc so have given up trying. He does what he wants. Handsome Hank… the rescue ridgeback x Bull Arab. Helpful, happy and handsome. Hank serves as a reminder that there is always something to smile about, each and every day. Claudette – my random foster chicken who appeared one day and never left. The only one who isn’t a complete freeloader – pays her way with one egg a day."

TEGAN COPLAND
"I have been a crazy horse girl since I left the womb and have owned horses/ competed for over 15 years. I am passionate about riding with a focus on dressage/ show horse and general shite riding (on occasions). My team at the moment consists of myself and 2 horses – Zane and Seven. I’ve had Zane for around 6 months and Seven for Just over 3 years.
My goals include getting both horses to ride elementary with scores over 60% by the end of the season. I would also like to continue my reign over rider classes I established last season."
ISABELLA SEIPEL
"I have two horses, Ollie, registered show name Brantley Oliver Twist and a 14.1 hand horse called Nova. I started riding when I was 5 and have loved it ever since, I like riding competitively and non-competitively.
My short-term goals are to get under 20 seconds in my barrel races to get a clean run for games. I have slowed down on shows and Dressage but my goals would be to be able to do flying changes and my canter leads right. My long- term goals are to do barrel racing Australia wide and do games for the NT side."
